Catalog screen & Report screen

Top of the Catalog screen

It opens when you tap the Catalog tab at the bottom. The tabs at the top are, from the left, Photos, Calendar, and Category.

Tap a tab.
Result
The screen changes. The app remembers the last tab you viewed. At first it's Photos.
Good to know
Going to Calendar clears the search text.
Catalog search

2 Catalog search

Where
The Search by name or category field at the top of the Photos and Category tabs. The Calendar tab doesn't have it.
How
Type text. Clear it with Clear.
Result
  • Photos: searches item names and category names and emoji, plus the note text.
  • Category: shows one list in name order instead of groups. It searches item names and category names and emoji.
Good to know
If nothing matches, you see “Nothing matches ‘search text’”. Dragging the list lowers the keyboard.

Photos

Where
The Photos tab
What you see
Records with photos or notes are shown in 3 columns, most recent first. Records with only a note are shown as text. Below each cell you see the item name and category.
Good to know
If there are none, you see No records with a photo or note yet.

The icon to the right of the search field on the Photos tab
How
Tap it. Tap again to turn it off.
Result
When on, only records with photos are left.
Good to know
The app remembers the last state.
Full-screen photo viewer

4-1 Full-screen photo viewer

Where
It opens when you tap a cell on the Photos tab.
How
Swipe up or down, or swipe sideways. Close it with the × at the top left.
Result
Swiping up or down goes to the next or previous record, in the order shown on the Photos tab. Swiping sideways goes to the next or previous photo in the same record.
Good to know
Swiping toward the previous side once more on the first photo closes it. If there are several photos, a number showing which one you're on appears in the middle, above the date.

Where
The bottom of the full-screen photo viewer
How
If the note is long, tap the ... at the end, and collapse it with Show less.
Result
You see the date and note. If Show time is on and the record's time is known, the time is shown too.

4-3 Go to the item

Where
The top right of the full-screen photo viewer
How
Tap “Go to item name →”.
Result
The item's detail screen opens at that record's spot. Going back returns you to the photo you were viewing.
Good to know
If you edit a photo or a record on the detail screen, the changes are shown when you come back.

Calendar

Where
The chips at the top of the Calendar tab
How
Tap one.
Result
Switch between a month calendar and a 1-year view. When you switch, the selected date returns to today.
Good to know
The app remembers your last choice. At first it's Month.

5-2 Moving months and years

Where
The ‹ › in the calendar's title row
How
Tap one.
Result
The month view moves by month and the year view moves by year. Below the title you see how many days have records.

Tap a date.
Result
A circle is drawn on the date you chose, and that day's record list appears below.
Good to know
The dots in a cell (up to 3) are the number of records that day. If the first dot has a ring, that day has a photo. Today is marked with an underline.
Year view

6 Year view

Where
The Year view. There are 12 rows, with one dot for each day.
How
Tap a month name on the left, or tap a dot.
Result
Tapping a month name goes to that month's calendar. Tapping a dot selects that date.
Good to know
The darker the dot, the more records that day (0, 1, 2, or 3 or more).
All categories filter

The button at the bottom left of the calendar
How
Tap it and choose All, Uncategorized, or one of the categories.
Result
The calendar shows only records from the category you chose.
Good to know
If the item you chose isn't in that category, the item filter is cleared on its own.

Tap it and choose All or one item.
Result
The calendar shows only that item's records.
Good to know
The list shows only items in the category you've chosen. When you choose an item, the category filter is set to that item's category.

That item's detail screen opens at that date's record.
Good to know
If there are no records that day, you see Nothing recorded on this day.

Categories

Tap a group header (emoji, name, number of items).
Result
Expand or collapse the group. At first they are all collapsed.
Good to know
Groups with items come first (Uncategorized is last among them), and empty categories follow in the order on the category management screen.

9-2 Items in a group

Tap an item cell.
Result
That item's detail screen opens.
Good to know
The cell shows how many days ago the last record was, or No records yet. Items where Attention threshold or more has passed since the last record show their name in bold.

9-3 Add item

Tap it, type a name, and tap Save.
Result
A new item is created in that category with 1 record for today.
Good to know
It's created new even if the same name exists. The notice bar on Home doesn't appear.

9-4 New category

Tap it, enter an emoji and a name, and tap Save.
Result
An empty category group appears, already expanded.
Good to know
For the creation dialog, see Settings > “Manage categories screen”.

Report

It opens when you tap the Report tab at the bottom. The report is read-only, so tapping a line does nothing.

Period

The chips at the top of the report: All · This week · 1 month
How
Tap one.
Result
The report period changes. The app remembers your last choice. At first it's All.
Good to know
  • This week is not this calendar week (Mon to Sun) but the last 7 days including today.
  • When you choose 1 month, the Last 30 days and This month chips appear as well. Last 30 days is 30 days including today, and This month is from the 1st of this month to today. The date range is shown on the left.
  • It's a different button from the Month chip on the calendar.
Collapsing sections

The section collapses or expands. The app remembers the state of each section. At first they are all expanded.

If there isn't a single record, you see Not enough records for a report yet. If there are no records in the period you chose, you see No records in this period yet.

11-3 Overview

What you see
It shows the number of items, the number of records, and how many days have passed since the first record.
Good to know
For the This week and 1 month periods, only the numbers of items and records are shown.

11-4 Overdue now

What you see
It shows up to 5 items you haven't done for longer than their usual gap, the most overdue first. Each line shows how often you usually did it and how many days it has been now.
Good to know
Only items recorded on 3 or more different dates are counted. If there are none, you see Nothing overdue.
Cycle

How
Change how you view it with the chips at the top: Every N days · By weekday · Per week.
Result
Each item shows Regular or Irregular, together with how many days apart / which weekday mostly / Weekends only / Weekdays only / how many times per week. If it's hard to tell, you see No clear pattern yet.
Good to know
Only the first 8 are shown, the regular ones first and the irregular ones after. If there are fewer than 2 records, you see Cycles appear once an item has 2+ records.

At the bottom right of the Cycle section. Shown only when there are more than 8 items.

Tap it.
Result
The full list opens as a sheet. In the sheet, filter with the view-mode chips and the All · Regular · Irregular chips.
By category

14-1 By category

Where
All periods
What you see
Each category shows a bar, the number of items and records, and, if there is an average gap, how many days apart. They're in order of most records, and Uncategorized comes last.

14-2 Last 4 weeks

Where
The last section for the All period
What you see
It shows the number of records for each of the last 4 weeks as dots and a line.
Good to know
Here a week is a block of 7 days. The last cell, This week, is also the last 7 days including today.
By item

15 By item

Where
The This week and 1 month periods
What you see
Items recorded in that period are shown with a bar and record count, most records first.
